Introduction
Welcome to the official website of Finestra Sul Borgo, a holiday apartment in the historic centre of Trevignano Romano.
By using this website and making a booking, you accept these booking terms and conditions.
When you book directly through our official website, you may access the best available direct conditions and a few advantages that are not always available on online travel platforms.
Benefits of booking direct
When possible, direct booking on the official website may include:
- better direct conditions;
- direct communication with the hosts;
- greater flexibility on arrival and departure times when operations allow it;
- direct support before and during the stay;
- access to our guest guide with practical local advice.
1. The apartment
Finestra Sul Borgo is a tourist apartment overlooking a small square in the historic centre of Trevignano Romano.
The apartment is offered for short tourist stays.
Owners and managers: Carlo and Giulio Cipollini.
2. How bookings can be made
Bookings may be made through:
- our official website;
- direct contact by email or WhatsApp;
- online platforms such as Airbnb or Booking.com.
Conditions applied through third-party platforms may differ from those offered for direct bookings.
3. Payments
Payment for the stay may be completed by:
- credit or debit card;
- Apple Pay;
- bank transfer, when agreed.
Payment timing and method are confirmed during the booking process.
4. Price transparency
The stay price shown for the apartment includes the costs related to the use of the apartment itself.
The only separate amount is the local tourist tax, which must be paid independently in line with local regulations.
5. Tourist tax
The tourist tax required by the Municipality of Trevignano Romano is not included in the stay price.
The amount follows the local regulation and must be paid before arrival through the dedicated payment link sent to the guest.
The tax does not apply to children under 14 and is charged for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights.
6. Online check-in
In order to comply with Italian public safety regulations, all guests must complete online check-in before arrival by providing the requested identity details.
This also helps us prepare access and make arrival smoother.
7. Access to the apartment
The apartment is accessed through a smart lock system with a personal code.
The access code is sent after:
- online check-in has been completed;
- the tourist tax has been paid.
8. Check-in and check-out times
Standard check-in: from 3:00 PM
Standard check-out: by 11:00 AM
When possible, we try to offer more flexibility to guests who book directly through the official website.
9. Cancellation policy
We want the planning stage to feel clear and calm.
Direct bookings follow the cancellation conditions shown during the booking process on the official site.
Free cancellation: up to 5 days before check-in with a full refund.
Cancellation within 5 days of check-in: the first night is retained and the remaining nights are refunded.
No-show: if the guest does not arrive and gives no notice, the stay is non-refundable.
10. House rules
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone and respect the village environment, we ask guests to follow a few simple rules:
- no smoking inside the apartment;
- no pets;
- respect for the quiet of the village and the neighbours;
- careful and responsible use of the apartment.
11. Guest responsibility
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the apartment, furnishings or equipment during the stay.
Any damage should be reported promptly to the hosts.
12. Limitation of liability
Except where required by law, the owners are not responsible for:
- loss of personal belongings;
- accidents or injuries;
- damage resulting from improper use of the apartment.
13. Privacy
Personal data provided during the booking process is handled in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy available on this website.
14. Applicable law
These booking terms and conditions are governed by Italian law.
